December 30, 2015 – “Considering affinity: an ethereal conversation” is now available.
It gives me great pleasure to announce that the result of my study of Hugh Strickland’s wall chart, “Considering affinity: An ethereal conversation” has appeared in the Elsevier journal Endeavour in 2015, volume 39. Part One came out in the spring issue (no. 1, pp. 69-79), Part Two in the summer (no. 2, pp. 116-126), and Part Three in the last issue (numbers 3 and 4 combined, pp. 179-187).
I have purchased reprints, and would be happy to mail you hard copy if you would like to have one.
If your library subscribes to that journal, you can see all three for free through ScienceDirect. The electronic versions have two advantages over the print version: you can zoom into the images, and you can look at extra footnotes in “Supplementary Content.” I hope to make the electronic versions freely available, but have not yet managed to arrange that, so at the moment you would need to pay to download them if your library does not subscribe toEndeavour.
